David Green, President
David Green is the founder, President and CEO of the StoneHill Group. David has over 30 years of senior management and executive experience in the real estate and mortgage banking industry. Since 1996, David has led the StoneHill Group's team of mortgage professionals in offering a wide array of outsourcing solutions to the real estate financing community.
David began his real estate and mortgage banking career at Cameron Brown and held leadership roles at First Union, Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) before forming the StoneHill Group.
David has served as an industry leader and consultant to top mortgage banking firms including managing a $500 million investor-owned portfolio of home equity loans at Bank One.
David attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Tampa where he holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
David has spoken at mortgage industry conferences and conventions, has written articles for leading publications and is considered an industry expert on quality control, mortgage outsourcing and risk management.
Theresa Buenerkemper, Director of Outsource Operations
Theresa Buenerkemper is the Director of Residential Outsource Operations and oversees all aspects of this business channel. Theresa has over 25 years of industry expertise with top-ranked mortgage organizations including Foster Mortgage, FT Mortgage, FirstPlus Financial, New America and HomeBanc Mortgage.
Theresa has held leadership roles in many areas of mortgage banking and has been a VP or higher in the areas of Post Closing Operations, Secondary Operations, Director of Training, Secondary Marketing and Contract Administration.
Rick Halterman, Director of MIS & Risk Management
Rick leads all corporate and client technology related projects as our Director of MIS and Risk Management. Rick is our technology visionary and has over 33 years of experience in the mortgage operations and credit administration.
Rick's extensive background includes staff management, customer service, marketing strategies, project management, internal auditing, department profitability and implementing new products and processes.
Prior to joining the StoneHill Group, Rick held a number of leadership positions at Bank One. Rick has a vast variety of strengths in mortgage banking and technology including software administration, policy, business development, and credit risk management.
Barry Tomlinson, Director Special Projects
Barry Tomlinson is responsible for maintaining customer relationships, as well as the management and review of our sizeable virtual due-diligence and quality control auditing team.
Barry has been in the mortgage banking industry since 1990 and in consumer related finance for over 35 years. Barry's extensive background in operations and due-diligence management enables us to provide specialized consultative services to the mortgage industry. Barry specializes in business workflow, maximization of operation flow chart output and employee buy-in.
Chuck Wells, Director Compliance and Internal Audit
Chuck Wells is responsible for oversight of the regulatory compliance and internal audit functions, ensuring adherence to company policy and quality standards, as well as evaluation and implementation of all required action plans, new policies and procedures, and other initiatives that impact compliance.
Chuck has been in the mortgage banking industry since 1983 and has served in several leadership roles with top ranked mortgage lending organizations. Chuck spent 16 years at HomeBanc Mortgage Corporation as VP of Quality Assurance & Internal Audit, and VP of the company's closing, post closing, and mortgage loan servicing divisions.

Paige Petta-Charbonnet,
Business Development Manager
Paige Petta serves as a consultant to clients nationwide, developing mortgage outsourcing solutions by seeking the best way to handle issues while providing a variable cost alternative for quality control and fulfillment service needs.
Prior to joining The StoneHill Group, Paige served as Regional Sales Manager for Rapid Reporting, a provider of verification services for the mortgage industry, where she directed sales efforts in eight states.
Paige holds a Bachelor's degree from Baylor University.
