Army veteran brings 7 years of quality control leadership experience to new role
JACKSONVILLE, FL – December 20, 2018 – Matthew McVay, a mortgage quality control expert with 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, has joined The StoneHill Group, a national provider of quality control, due diligence, and mortgage fulfillment solutions for mortgage lenders, banks and credit unions. McVay will serve as quality control audit manager in the company’s Jacksonville, Florida office, where he will be responsible for supervising all quality control staff located in Jacksonville and QC staff working remotely, including all pre-fund and post-fund QC team members.
A U.S. Army veteran, McVay previously served as a quality control lead, performance supervisor and underwriter for Digital Risk and as a quality control underwriter for Opus Capital Markets Consultants. Prior to moving into the quality control field, McVay ran his own mortgage brokerage business. McVay graduated from Florida State University with a degree in business administration and is currently an MBA candidate at Florida International University with a finance specialization.
